So, I haven't spent all that much time whining about how much I miss my Michigan friends and family. I think I can sum it up best this way- yesterday Michigan has 12" of snow dumped on it. Today it's 60 degrees in North Carolina. If you offered me a choice between running here (beautiful and perfect) and there (cold, dangerous and miserable) there would win hands down.
Oh, and my family is having a random get together today, too. Life is like that...

I'm doing the RF Super 5K in Novi tomorrow. I'm going to miss seeing you there as I assume you would have been either running in the race or volunteering. Oh hey, because I am doing the race I get a 50% off coupon for the store...man, they sure know how to target my wallet.
Yah; my running group is doing it like they did last year- meet at a friend's house 7 miles from the start. Run to the race, do the race, run back.
It was my first dip into true running insanity (remember it was bloody cold last year) but wow was it fun! :)
